What Are Symptoms of Benign Esophageal Tumors?
Benign esophageal tumors often cause no symptoms. However, if they grow large enough to cause an obstruction, you may start to notice them.
Symptoms of benign esophageal tumors can include:
- Bleeding in your esophagus
- Chest pain
- Difficulty or discomfort during swallowing (dysphagia)
- Food getting stuck in the back of your throat (food impaction)
- Open sores in your esophagus (ulcers)
- Sudden backup of undigested food and saliva (regurgitation)
